Quality time mode on
If you finally have your long-awaited tattoo, I will explain everything about wound care to you. From that moment on, you are solely responsible for care and healing.
Care instructions after tattooing
If you properly support and care for your tattoo as it heals, you will enjoy it for a long time.
This time and patience will definitely pay off.
Then the skin remains supple and is less tense during the healing process. There is also a lower risk of infections and no incrustations form that could remove parts of the paint.
This benefits the tattoo as there are no color gaps.
The result: beautiful, even and long-lasting bright colors.
As a rule, a film bandage is applied after completion. Don't be alarmed - it's completely normal if some blood,
paint and wound secretion have accumulated under the film.
Depending on which foil was used, it should remain on the tattoo for a different amount of time:
Plasters such as Suprasorb can remain on the wound for 3-4 days,
whereas cling film should remain on the tattoo for a maximum of a few hours.
Now the healing tattoo treatment begins for the next 3 weeks.
The top rule is: keep it clean!
Wash the tattoo two to three times a day with a PH-neutral soap before applying a thin layer of tattoo cream to it with clean hands. Direct sunlight, scratching, shaving and other stimuli should also be avoided. Excessive consumption of alcohol and drugs and adherence to extreme diets can further influence healing. Anything that really softens the skin should be avoided. A normal shower length is not a problem, but bathing, swimming, taking a sauna, sweating while exercising and applying too much cream can be very damaging to the tattoo. Not only is the risk of inflammation high in such situations, the quality of the tattoo can also suffer permanently in this short period of time.
The tattoo ink must have the chance to grow in calmly and with the best quality. Fine lines may appear as soon as the skin softens too much and the color has not yet healed.
Thanks for your trust
and now I wish you a lot of joy with your new tattoo
